Amber Burke has more than 18 years of multifaceted experience within the field of marketing and business development in the A/E/C Industry. As a marketing professional for Symbiont, Amber is responsible for strategic planning, lead tracking, and the collaboration with numerous proposal and presentation production teams, managing multiple priorities while meeting critical deadlines.

Barbara Jahncke is an associate and marketing strategist for Kahler Slater, a global architecture and design enterprise. She plays an important role in leading strategic planning for the firm. She also leads business and marketing planning for the firm’s business environments and environmental branding teams. She has been an active member on the SMPS Wisconsin board of directors for several years and currently holds the position of Vice President/President-Elect.

Kevin Hickman, CPSM, is a 15-year veteran of the A/E/C industry. As Director of Business Development for J.P. Cullen, Kevin focuses on growing the firm’s K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial and Historic Restoration Markets. Kevin is a recognized industry expert in referendum planning and execution for both K-12 and Technical College clients, and has authored a book on the subject, which is utilized by School Districts around Wisconsin. Kevin served as President of SMPS Wisconsin in 2001, was a Mentor in the SMPS Wisconsin Mentor Protégé Program in 2011, and in 2012 was a SMPS Wisconsin Forward Award Winner.

Maddy Tarbox , Vice President of Marketing, is responsible for working closely with the President and Vice President of Business Development to establish strategy, market penetration and brand alignment internally as well as externally. She is also responsible for all public relations, advertising, corporate communication programs, and client relationship management programs. VJS clients often engage Maddy’s assistance for referendum planning, public relations, marketing, neighborhood outreach and events.

Jenny Basile leads healthcare business development for HGA’s eastern region. She collaborates with Principals and Business Developers across the firm to develop strategy, track markets, initiate client relationships and position HGA to win projects. She works to understand each client’s unique needs in order to bring them the right team to deliver a well-designed and innovative solution. Jenny holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Masters of Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In 2014, Jenny was honored as one of the “Forty under 40” by the Business Journal of Milwaukee.

Register at the door the day of the event with a check for an extra $10.
