Networking and Business Development: It's Everyone's Responsibility
In this half-day workshop we will discuss how business development is a process and what the steps in that process are, and how individuals (in any position) can help their firms locate, pursue, and close more deals.
Marketing Excellence Awards
On an annual basis, SMPS Wisconsin welcomes members and non-members in the A/E/C industry to submit their most award-worthy marketing projects and initiatives. Maximum of two (2) entries per firm.
Call for entries is now Closed.
We will open our 2020-2021 Call for Entries in the Spring.
2019-2020 Award Winners
A wide variety of projects were submitted for recognition in our Marketing Excellence Awards and three projects were recognized, including:
- JP Cullen for their Advocate Aurora Proposal Delivery Method
- IBC Engineering for their Corporate Rebranding
- HGA Architects for their UW Milwaukee Student Union Proposal
The best in show was awarded to JP Cullen for their Advocate Aurora Proposal Delivery Method. In addition to the award winners, the judges gave a nod of approval to CG Schmidt for their Rebranding Campaign, to Mortenson for their Hey, That’s Cool Communications Campaign, and JP Cullen for their Milwaukee County Zoo Advertising Campaign. Congratulations to all!

Congratulations to JP Cullen for winning not one, but two Awards of Excellence at the 43rd Annual SMPS Marketing Communications Awards!
